Well, first off. YES.... the proving grounds will still be open to all, but NO..... it will be Members only voting.

O.K. now that's cleared up.


In 06' we had a snare for first place finals winner and unfortunately. Due to circumstances way out of my control. He hasn't even received it yet. So what we're going to do is this......
If DAnnie doesn't get his snare THIS YEAR, he's automatically in 08's finals. I'm truely sorry you haven't received it yet.

08' prizes?
Prizes that we have been told are for certain. *** This is from the companies people, not us! We go by their word and 98.9% it's true!***

I know for a fact, there will be tons more prizes. I just want to get the companies word first before I post it. And yes, monthly prizes will be DB Shoes and yes Jerry and the DB crew has been awesome in that they ship for free for us!!

We'll start the monthly's in February. This way, if we get entries each month. There will be ten finalist. We'll check the polls we created and I'll start a thread with 08's contest entry info. Let's SEE some entries in 08'!! 07' was pathetic, not many entries

O.K. here's ALL the info you all will need we believe to enter the contests this year for 2008.


There will be ten chances to WIN a monthly this year. 5 MP3 contests and 5 video contests. If you have won a Finals, you CANNOT enter. If you are in a signed band....you CANNOT enter.
As mentioned above, DAnnie is automatically in this years Finals if he does not receive his Finals prize from 2006. We had no control over that. If he gets his prize before Decembers contest, he cannot enter.


If you do a video, upload it to YouTube and send me the link. If you do a MP3 send it to me!! Please put DRUM CONTEST in the subject line of your E-Mail or there's a real good chance it WILL get overlooked.

We will take the first 10 entries we get! Or we'll take entries until the 7th of that month. You have until the 7th of the month to get your entry in. Let me say it again.... You have until the 7th of the month to get your entry in.

If you WIN...... you have until the 7th of the following month to claim your prize!
EXAMPLE ---- you WIN in March... You have until April 7th to claim your prize.

THIS IS A DRUM CONTEST!!! Not you jamming with your band or band mates. Yes, I guess you can call it a drum solo.

If you make it to the finals, be prepared to WIN. What I'm trying to say is. If you win, you WILL have to pay shipping on some of the prizes. Start saving your $$$ NOW!!

For 2008, you win a video month contest and we'll put your video on the front of Blastology! YES, alongside PETE SANDOVAL / ALEX PELLETIER and the other videos!


If you win in November, you have to be ready to submit a entry in Decmber (tough month to win!!)
