When you first click on Half Man Half Machines...BLASTOLOGY! you'll be sent to our 'HOME' page. On this page you will see our sponsors and a calendar, an 'active Users' module. Which shows who is online inside 'Blastology'. Also how many members we currently have, how many threads and posts are inside the 'FORUM' area. The top poster and our newset member!
And some videos of Incredible drummers on the left-side, and also Member videos of Our Monthly video winners!
And once you are logged-in your personal control panel module will appear on top in the middle! You can check for new posts and private messages there.
We also have our -Pay Pal- module, in which... if you would like to make a Donation to the site. You can thru -Pay Pal-. And it will be very much appreciated.
Lower down on the left-side your 'online buddies' module and a 'Search' box. On the right-side you will see more of our Sponsor's and the latest forum topics.
In the middle there is our 'Welcome' message, and latest News modules. You can click on them and they will take you to the News section. Registered Users and Visitors can get to the NEWS section, only thru these 'HOME' page area's.

Accessing 'Blastology';
On each page we have a Custom made Navigation Bar. This Bar contains each area of 'Blastology'

Home / Forum / Blog / Media Center / Gallery / and Arcade.


When you register, reply to the confirmation e-mail. It proves you are a actual human, not an automated system. Also, it will confirm you are not trolling just to stir up trouble. Please comply with it because if the system automatically bans your I.P. we can't get it turned back 'on'. Our new system gives you 1 week to confirm your registration, then it automatically deletes you. So be sure to check your junk mail filter once you register.

'ARCADE'
Yeah...we have a arcade here. Many games to play. And if you think you are good. You can challenge any Member by setting up your Arcade settings in your User Control Panel!

'CHAT ROOM' or 'Chat Box'
All right. Currently Our chats are turned 'off ' We'll turn the flash chat back on in May. If you do not have Flash...go here



It's FREE and Macromedias' installer automatically installs it in your computer. Once your signed in to 'Blastology', just click on the words 'Chat Room' and you'll be directed straight to it. This is one of the most High Tech Chat Rooms on the internet. No, it's not original ...it's just not many sites have one like it.

Each and everyone of you can customize your Chat Room interface to look how you want it too! Click on the 'options' button. There you will see ...Themes....Sounds..Effects...Text. You can set them however you like, then hit O.K. Now every time you go into the Chat Room...it'll look and act how YOU want it too! The flash chat room is for Members only!

'Chat Box'
Is Currently turned ' off '
Our Chat Box is located on the forum page (( towards the bottom of the page!!))

It refreshes every 20-30 seconds and if you want to chat with visitors and Members publicly... feel free to do it there!

'FORUM'
In the 'Forum' area's you can view...read...and post in many of the threads. When clicking on the 'Forum' button, you will notice the area 'MACHINES'. Well when you click on it. The 'Machines' area opens with ALL the Half Man Half Machine drummers individual forums in it!
Also there's the A.R.T. forum. An Articles / Reviews / and Tutorials section it has Our spotlighted drummers and a CD or interview 'reviews' area. You can do directly to it thru the image slide show on Our main page.

'GALLERY'
The Gallery has all the pictures in it. Each drummer has his own section and there's many sections for all our members. Each and every upload will be -Approved by myself or one of the Moderators. EVERYONE who is a Registered Member can upload their images into it!

'Media Center'
Our media center contains many videos of the HM HM drummers. And if you are a registered Member you can link your own videos or MP3's for all Members to see and hear!

'Blog'
Have something you want to write about, but it really doesn't fit in any threads or categories? Post it in your Blog! [COLOR="rgb(0, 255, 255)"]Each Member has their OWN personal blogging area complete with RSS feed to it![/color]

'Custom Profiles'
I will explain these in depth in this area of the forum

'Video and MP3 embeds'
We're already testing this feature and once it's stable .... I'll post info about it. And yes, it'll be available for ALL Members!!

'Join-able Groups'
Members can create custom Groups and have Buds join in! You all can have your OWN area to message each other in them! Currently we have not added any restrictions to it as it's brand new to us. And Bam Bam will be monitoring thoroughly.

'Main Page' custom navigation
YES, we know there is two navigation bars currently! We've left both turned 'on' for the present time so we could dedicate the time to tweaking the internal features more. And so I could create all the how to's in this thread

Clicking on 'Home' brings you back to our main page. And 'Logout' is self explainatory.

The HUGE image rotation system on Our main Forum page will have quick links to cool areas' of Blastology! What areas'? Our Monthly Contests area. Our upcoming reviews area! Our upcoming articles area:: :: Which will be a drummer spotlight area! And many more cool features to come!

This forum is quite modern and has many options for ALL users! I hope this clears up some of the area's in 'Blastology'.

I know it's pretty big, and easy to get lost in. But, once you've figured it out...it's pretty damn COOL!!

CHECKOUT ALL my posts here in this thread and I'll show you all how to use all the features here!
