Ever visit a thread and see that ' linkback ' button on top of it? Wonder what it does? Well if you are registered to any of the bookmark share sites like Digg, Del.icio.us, Technorati, or Furl. You can digg a thread you like! And the linkback button works like this. If you want to send a linkback to (for example),,, Say you want to send a linkback to SMNNEWS.com's forum? Just type their URL in the linkback URL area and it'll send Our name to them and if they accept. They'll linkback to us!! It's a GREAT way to promote BLASTOLOGY without ever giving us a dime!!! DO IT!!!!! hahaha

Under each Members name once they sign in ... there's Our Private Messaging system button. It will say 'private messages' if you have none. If you do, it will say 'Your notifications'

There will be a dropdown menu once you click on it!! See all the options. Some you may not have because the image is my/ Blastology system. But it should be self explained. If you have any questions, just ask!!!

Well, the Blogging system has been running for a long time and everyone has their OWN Blogging area complete with RSS feeds! To get to it, just click on the BLOG button on top of each page of Blastology.
Once there look to the left side of the page.

See the arrow pointing to the post your blog/ your blog area? That's your personal blogging tool!!! You can have private blogs that only friends can see or you can have public blogs!

There's a long list of options for you to choose from. The main ones are under ' your profile ' That's where you can customize your own profile page to look how you want it too.
Here's my current one. Hahaha....
Clicking the ' customize profile ' button will take you to the customization page to pimp out your profile!! You can use your own images if you like and choose your own colors for text. There's a few tiny areas (text only) that will be moved and better areas added within the next few days!
To get a image in this area ( you'll have to create a photo album first) By clicking the ' pictures & albums ' button under the -Networking- category in your control panel. Once you create a photo album, just upload a photo! Once it's in our system you can use it for background images. All this can be done thru the control panel.

The gallery is separate from Our forum pictures and albums.

O.K. to customize your profile page has a few things to do. But, I'll show you how here and then it will be easy for you!

See picture one, you create a album by clicking on the ' pictures & albums ' button. Once you click it you will go to a page a see the 'add album text area. Here you can give your album a name and brief description! then you have options to choose if you want your pictures viewable by the public, or private only viewable by contacts and moderators. Or you can choose to have them only available for your profile page.

[COLOR="SandyBrown""]See picture two[/color], Once you make a album. you'll have a ' upload album picture ' link. Click on it and you'll go to a page with this on it. You can upload three images at a time. Currently, we're all limited to 60 pictures. I have the system set to resize your images for you if possible. What this means is if your pictures are reasonably all, the system will resize them.

See picture three, O.K. we're almost there!! Now you have pictures in your albums!! To get a image on the backgrounds of your profiles to customize them follow these two tips!!
Lets say you want to add your own background image in your profile. Well go to your photo album and view a picture. Under it will be the pictures URL. Copy it!! Either on a PC click (control + C) or if you are on a Mac click the (apple button + C)


ooooooooo.K. now the fun part!! SEE picture four Go to your control panel and click on the ' customize profile ' button. You'll see a page similar to the picture in four. You can change the font family / text colors / border colors / background color or image. If you paste your picture you copied from your album in one of the background image text areas. Your picture will show in the background of the designated area. You can really customize your profile here. Click on my name and you can view my profile.
