Morkul is a Noobie here!
2nd snare?

I noticed you have added a second snare to the kit(or maybe it was there before just re-introducing back in). Do you have any plans on incorporating it into some Nile stuff, or is it for the SickeningHorror stuff mainly? I'd love to hear some 2 snare stuff with Nile.
What did you think of Derek's double snare work on "I,Monarch"? Unbelievable to me. Seeing him do it live was the best. It helped me introduce the second snare to my kit as well and has opened all kinds of doors.
Just wanted to see about yours.......Later Bro.

Hey bro,what's up?
Yeah,i use the second snare for about 4 months now. It's a 10x5,5 snare but i wait my Gabriel 10x5,5 maple one which will be killer!I was thinking to add a second snare for a long time so i made it,and offcourse Derek's work was a huge inspiration,i love I,Monarch album,i was sure that Derek will kick ass but it's even more better than i was expecting, listening to it all day Derek is the man...!!!
In the Sickening album i have some double snare patterns,i did some in my clinic too but the most importand of all is a drum n bass pattern which fits perfect in there! You will hear it soon...
I will have my second snare on the nile tour but on the US tour, not on this one right now,i will definitelly put some patterns there but i want to wait my Gabriel debut for the States,my kit will be ready and i will have some new stuff for Nile. Many great and new thoughts so far...
Also,i have a third hi-hat too,it's a cable hat and i already put some multipedal petterns on the Sickening Horror album,i'm doing some new things right now but the brutality is always there and more than ever! The next Nile album will have many new stuff, faster, more complicated and new,i have so many ideas which i can't wait to enter the studio!!Any Nile and Sickening album want to be better than the previous ones so that's my goal...I think every musician thinks the same way...
Hail the drumkit..........................

George

More reasons why you are my favorite extreme metal drummer. You respond to our questions, you are cleanest, fastest drummer I know of, and you are open to other music (creative in many aspects of the percussive genre). Man, those vids couldn't come any sooner.

Cool!!! Well I know that is going to go great. I hope to hear from you when you get here and have a safe flight. I know that first practice is just going to shred from the first note to the first kick all the way down the block.
