I will say right off the bat that I am not a drummer, but I like to learn plenty about drumming and different types of instrumentation, especially in the realm of metal.

Now, tell me if I'm crazy for even asking this, but does George ever use 3 kicks pedals? When I saw them live, friends that I was with said they saw him setting up with 3 kicks, two on the left kick and one on the right. Other people I spoke to online seemed to confirm this. Also, the kit set-up on the official page seems to indicate something like this, as it it says (x3) for the pedals and shows two, though on the right kick, and one on the left.

Several pictures that I have looked at, though seems to show only two pedals, one per kick.

Can anyone clarify some of this for me?

I guess the second pedal on the left would be Hihat-stands pedal. It is used to open and close hihat cymbals. I´m pretty sure that George doesn´t have more than 2 kick pedals.

I thought he also had a roland bass pad with some triggered sound on the left of his hihat.
