Hello George!! I purchased some months ago, a pair of AXIS A LONGBOARDS..my question is :
HOw can I obtain the maximum power from them?
I used to use some IC...and they were reallyr eally powerful compared to my axis...
I want to have a nice volume because I'm a hard hitter and I don't want to use triggers because I don't have enough volume
I use triggers for definition not to cheat

I can advice you to use heavy beaters, use a protection pad like the Remo falam slam which adds a bit more 'bottom-end" to your strokes and what might be an idea is to mess a little with the variable drive lever. If I remember well, I was able to play louder with my vari drive all the way up the top. This way, you'll sacrifice some speed, but gain some volume/power.

Steel is right,try some heavy ass beaters and place them high,then you will see some real power for sure......Not too tight springs as well cause it keeps back your foot.
