Drum Beaters

Hi George have you ever used other drum beaters besides the IC rubber beaters? I plan on buying either the pearl quad beaters (eliminators) or the DW Hardcore Beaters

you can click on the link for the picture of the beaters

Checked a local drumstore which sells TAMA products and they don't sell the beaters alone..

Anyone can reply here so that i can hear your views on some beaters..

I use the AXIS 2a (double pedal shortboards)

Hey slnd

I used to have iron cobra's with the wood beaters & they are pretty light, but then i swaped to pearl elims with the quad beaters & i really like them, they are a little more weighty but still cool none the less.I'm using the felt side that is slightly more rounded. My bass drum skins are quite loose & with the felt beater it really feels you're burying your foot.

I also used just plain wooden beaters think they are danmar's but i did'nt use them for too long.

You should try as many beaters as possible. Eventually your foot will love one (or a few different ones) of them.

I used the Gibraltar double sided, Marksmsn, Sonic Hamer, IC rubber & the wooden beaters. Even made myself a pair with Vesconite & a pair with rubber.

I'm still witht the IC wooden one now. Would like to try the Pearl quad beaters.

Thank you with the replies guys

I'd want to buy different kinds of beaters

Currently having problem with my axis though =/

I think the hole for the scre in adjusting the beaters is loosethreaded

I want to think about something before going to the machine shop and have it resized/ re-holed to a different position
