Can you reveal your adjustments for the Alesis DMPRO module? Gain, Noise, Sensitivity etc?
I have DM5 and I canīt find good settings. I know that your settings might not be very good for anyone else than you and your style of playing, but Iīd like to have some directions where to go.

Thanks for your kind words dude..
DMPro differs from DM5 and D4,it has weird settings which you can't find on the DM5.Also,i use the mighty E-kits so it really doesn't matter how much gain, noise e.t.c. you use.It does just not as much as if you use DDrums,Rolands and other trigger.
I use the max sensitivity to have the same kick volume, but i usually mix my triggerd kick with mic so it works the same way and more natural.Gain is about 65-70.
If you use any DDrums or any other trigger except the Axis E-kits,you will always have problems with double/miss triggering. It differs from stage to stage, just be prepared to reset your module everytime so you can always have the best results. Also, using much of muffling you can get good results,it just sucks for me cause it is like you play on practice pads,i like the way the kick sounds,i love the natural sound!
On "Annihilation Of The Wicked" i used the Alesis D4 and then we replace the kick sound with one of Neil Kernon's sounds, that sample kicks ass!It is so clean and so powerfull at the same time! Also,on every Nile or Sickening Horror show i still use the D4.When you only trigger the kicks, you don't have to use a better module...I just now have the DMPro so i will use it on every studio from now on...
