Drum Music

Hey George,
A while ago you sent me a page of your music from "Chapter Of Obeisance Before Giving Breath....", I have been learning other songs from AOTW, and was wondering if you have anything else written out, that I might be able to use to help my learning of it.
I can play all the way through "Cast Down The Heritic", but I the fills give me problems, because they are always changing.
Any help would be greatly appriciated.

Thanks

Trevor

I've tabbed that whole song but have no way of sending except a old guitar pro

The fills on Cast Down The Heretic are generally quite simple, here's a few techniques George uses quite commonly not just from Cast Down:

ride bells beore a fill such as (X being the bell hit):

Code:
C--------------------------x---x-------------------------x-
R-x---x---x---x---X----------------------------------------
t-----------------------------------------x-x-x-x----------
T------------------------------------------------x-x-x-x---
S---x---x---x---x-----x-----------x-x-x-x------------------
B-x---x---x---x---x-------x-x-x-x-x-------x------x-------x-
Cymbal accent patterns such as in Execration Text:

Code:
C-x-----------x-----------x-------
S---x-x-x-x-x---x-x-x-x-x---x-x-x-
B-x-----------x-----------x-------
splitting solid 16ths between bass and snare with cymbals:

Code:
C-x---x------------x---x-----------
S---------x-x-x-x----------x-x-x-x-
B-x-x-x-x----------x-x-x-x---------
Enjoy It all changes live though, most feels are improv except where the fill is linked to the riff for example the huge fill on the end of Execration Text.

I was talking about Cast Down The Heretic by the way, just realised it sounded like I meant Chapter...

I've found the file, it's all the way upto the riff before the chants of 'Cast... Down...' but there's a few corrections of things I've realised are wrong since tabbing it + I need somewhere to upload it to.
