Thumbs up <!-- google_ad_section_start -->BLASTOLOGY C.D. reviews area!<!-- google_ad_section_end -->

This is Blastology's NEW C.D. review area. If you have bought a C.D. and would like to share your thoughts on it. POST about it! None of us here are professional reviewers, but we all have Our own opinions on music. So share your thoughts.... likes....and ....dislikes!
2008 should kick some SERIOUS ASS for Death Metal releases! I know Meshuggah / Hate Eternal / Origin / Suffocation / Kataklysm ... just to name a few will have C.D.'s out this year! Post your review!

Thanks
Kenny

Meshuggah - obZen

I've only started listening to the first 4 songs of obZen, I heard bleed when it was played on internet radio before and I didn't really like it. I thought it was kind of repetative but together with the other songs it really blended in and kicks ass! Now I'm listening to Lethargica and man... This cd seems to be a mix between Chaosphere and Nothing and I believe that's what Tomas said it would be like. This is amazing I've been looking forward to this cd for a long time and it went far over my expectations!!! GET IT GET IT GET IT NOW

The drums are insane too both soundwise and the performance but who wouldn't have guessed that already...

Cheers!

Escaping the Stupor - Sacrificium

A band I discovered not too long ago, who has a really awesome, heavy sound. They're a Christian band from Germany that sounds a little like (in my opinion anyway) a mild cross between some aspects of Nile's and Opeth's sound.
