O.K. everyone here's the info for our Monthly drum contests!!!!!!!

We went back and looked and there will be 9 contestants in the FINALS! So, I'm going to make sure that each contestant wins something! It takes guts to upload a mp3 of yourself jamming to the World, plus upload it here where the Worlds Best Drummers can hear you as well!!! So PLEASE READ THE PRIZES in order!!!!

Each month from February to November we'll have One winner who will go to our Finals in December!
We'll take the FIRST 10 entry's we get each month.

Send in your MP3 between the 1st of the month till the 7th day of the month!

Send Your MP3 to THIS E-mail Address!, with "DRUM CONTEST" in the subject line.

PUT YOUR USERNAME IN THE E-MAIL MESSAGE!!! If your name is Philbert and you use "Joe_Rocker" here as a username, and send your mp3 in under Philbert.....WE DO NOT KNOW WHO YOU ARE!!

We will post ALL the entry's as soon as we either get 10 or on the 8th day of the month!

MP3's have to be 2 minutes or less 196k or less! If it's 2:01 we will NOT even open it up! If it's a higher sample rate than 196k .... we will delete it.

If your MP3 makes it in one of the 10 spots of the month, either I or BAM_BAM or Blastard will E-mail you and let you know your MP3 is in!

We'll make a Poll for ALL members to vote on their favorite!

You can enter as many times as you want (1 entry per month), once you Win. You are in the FINALS.
This year it's winner gets a pair of dB Drummer Shoes! 2nd place, 3rd place, 4th place.... gets to try again if they want.

December Finals have to be just like last year. A video of you jamming on a Acoustic Kit! It can be 3 minutes or less. Give me a few months to find a perfect file for everyone to view the videos PC and Mac. Probably .wmv?

Well, damn how the F* can you record a audial track !

Easily.

All you need is a/some microphone(s), a computer, and any sort of recording program, i.e. Windows Sound Recorder. Plug the mic in, press record, and do the thing.

You can also take the audio track (wav) from video and then convert it to mp3 format. Taking the audio track with VirtualDub is very easy.

I'll try both ways and I'll what sounds the best, anyway thanks for the quick help dudes .
