Though there is one thing that bothers me. I thought solo ment: playing alone.

i voted for xendor although i liked spasm as well.
great vids everyone! i think xendor stepped it up the most since his last vid.
versatile solo as well -fast feet and hands as well as mixing up rudiments around the set. great job. cheers!

Oh please don't say that I am disqualified now! I honestly haven't seen anywhere rule that it has to be only me playing alone... If it so, please start the voting again and I will post my solo instead of that video.

I'm not really complaining to be one hundred percent honest. Even though your playing is incredibly tight, there is nothing there that is really terribly impressive that I'm sure you could have put into a solo. You are limited to playing just beats because you played a SONG (not a SOLO) which means no chance for rudiments or anything that would be attractive on its own just as drums.

And obviously you aren't disqualified if Kenny put your video in this thread. At least that's the way I see it?

This one goes to Xendor. Spasm:s video would also be great, had it been done with an acoustic kit. Deimonycheus is also really good, but i would've liked a solo more (i know it doesn't say anything in the rules about it). arends solo just isn't to my liking. Seems like a warm-up video that really doesn't have any point.

I'm sorry, did it seem like I was just warming up because I was doing some rudiments and stuff and not blast beats for 4 minutes? I was trying to mix it up... There are the blast beats in there that everybody else did, but I didn't feel like doing them for 4 minutes lol

And I'm sorry, that doesn't change my oppinion. I noticed that you did some god damn rudiments and i noticed you also did some blast beats. It still didn't sound good to me. This is a blastology competition and IMHO the blast beating for 4 minutes sounds a lot better than some rudiments here and there. And that's my oppinion. If you don't like it, that's your problem.
